Kate Harvey is a Senior Sustainability Advisor for Pure Strategies. She supports corporate product, and supply chain sustainability work with market research, data analysis, benchmarking of corporate activities, and corporate engagement strategy development. Kate has worked with clients including MegaFood, Seventh Generation, and Walmart.
Her recent projects include helping major food retailers to build proactive approaches to animal welfare in the food supply chain, assisting with development of sustainable food sourcing strategies, and facilitating the development of strategic chemicals management efforts for food, packaging, home and personal care products.
Prior to her work at Pure Strategies, Kate worked for over a decade at the Consensus Building Institute, Ceres, and independently as a facilitator for multi-stakeholder engagements in the U.S. and abroad related to sustainability issues, such as renewable energy siting, corporate environmental performance, and public policy development.
Kate has a Master's Degree in Environmental Policy and Conflict Resolution from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a Bachelor's Degree in international relations from Schiller International University in Madrid.
