Melanie Fleming joined Pure Strategies’ Marketing and Business Development team in 2018. She supports the consulting team with marketing and business development analysis, research, and written communication tools. Melanie gathers, analyzes, and generates reports on marketing and business development metrics, manages all social media channels, and website content. She contributes to the development of content and collateral through planning, writing, and editing client case studies, industry articles, press releases, the Pure Strategies’ blog, product and corporate ads, and the monthly enewsletter.
Prior to her work at Pure Strategies, Melanie worked for more than fifteen years in Marketing, Business Development, and Public Relations. She has provided strategic counsel to executive management and developed customized marketing programs and creative public relations strategies that positively impacted business and revenue goals. Melanie has led marketing programs for companies including Xerox, Thomson Communications’ clients Boston Private Bank & Trust, The Northeast Arc, Care Dimensions, and others.
Melanie has a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Journalism, Commonwealth Honors Scholar, University of Massachusetts — Amherst and pursued graduate studies in broadcast journalism. She has received numerous awards for creative writing, including three Bell Ringers, two APEX Publications Excellence awards, and several American Graphic Design merits.
